I am pleased to introduce to you THE CYBER SECURITY LEXICON … and today WHAT IS TROJAN?

A Trojan horse or Trojan is a type of malware that is often disguised as legitimate software. Trojans can be employed by cyber-thieves and hackers trying to gain access to users’ systems. Users are typically tricked by some form of social engineering into loading and executing Trojans on their systems.

TACHLESSS (as we say in Israel…)

The Trojan Horse is a tale from the Trojan War about the subterfuge that the Greeks used to enter the city of Troy and win the war. This metaphor is used to describe a malicious computer program which is used to hack into a computer by misleading users of its true intent.
